However, we would like to focus on one of the most famous districts. Of course we mean Kazimierz.

A pinch of history

Before the war, it was a Jewish quarter. There are many churches and synagogues here. Every tourist must also visit the former market square Plac Wolnica with the Town Hall. Kazimierz is a place of contrasts. There are modern apartments and crumbling tenements, trendy clubs and venues that remember the times of the Polish People’s Republic, Polish and Hebrew inscriptions. Each street has a separate history. You can feel a unique, mysterious atmosphere in the air. Anyone who has walked the streets of Kazimierz at least once knows what we are talking about.
