Christmas Markets in Krakow

Jingle ????, Jingle ????… ginger smells! ????

It’s a tradition that every year, about a month before Christmas, main square (the Rynek) turns into a busy market place. Actually, since its foundation the main square has been the main MARKET square in Krakow. It’s gets busy due to more than 80 booths packed with hand-crafted products that lure both the locals and tourists visiting Krakow. Among the products you can find those crafted in Poland, but also from many European countries: Lithuania, Ukraine, Slovakia, UK, Hungary, Germany and many others. There’re also counters selling bbq and mulled wine that will help you bear with the cold of winter and get you merry!

Christian carols played and sung in the background. Bands and artists performing on the stage. Gentle illumination, smell of ginger and Christmas tress makes this place wonderful. People smile and laugh, dance and sing. Christmas festival is here! Ends 26th of December.
